This privacy policy explains how the FJ Mahjong app for iPhone and iPad (the “App”) handles information. The App is a single-player Mahjong game and is built to collect as little data as possible. There are no servers operated by the developer, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no user accounts.
The App stores the following data locally on your device, using Apple’s standard UserDefaults storage:
This information stays on your device and is never sent to the developer or any third party.
The App uses Apple’s iCloud Key-Value Store to sync only the start date of your free trial across devices signed in to the same Apple ID. This lets your free trial period carry over if you reinstall the App or switch devices. The data is encrypted and managed entirely by Apple — the developer cannot access your iCloud account or its contents.
You can disable iCloud sync at any time from your device’s Settings.
The App offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock the full game. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple via the App Store. The developer never receives your payment information, Apple ID, name, or address. Apple shares only an anonymous transaction record so that the App can recognise that you have unlocked the full version.

The App may, on rare occasions, show Apple’s standard “Rate This App” prompt after several wins. If you choose to leave a rating, that rating is sent to Apple — not to the developer. The developer cannot tie your rating to your identity.
The App includes a “Contact Support” button that opens your email client with a pre-filled subject line. If you choose to send the email, you are voluntarily sharing your email address and the contents of your message with the developer at fjmahjong1@gmail.com. This information is used only to respond to your message and is not shared with anyone else.
If you do not tap “Send” in your email client, no information leaves your device.
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
The App contains no third-party SDKs that perform tracking.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has shared personal information with the developer (for example, by sending an email through the Contact Support button), please contact fjmahjong1@gmail.com and the developer will delete the message.
Because the developer does not collect personal information about you through the App, there is generally no personal data to access, export, or delete. If you have any questions or requests regarding your data, you may contact the developer at the address below.
This policy may be updated occasionally to reflect changes in the App or in applicable law. The “Effective Date” at the top of this document will be updated to reflect any changes. Material changes will be noted in the App Store release notes for the corresponding update.
